April Photo Contest
Hi all you wonderful photographers! It's time for the second quarter contest for Bananas Quarterly!
Please send your one best photo of CANNA to BQPhotoContest@gmail.com along with your name, and the location where the shot was taken. JPG or TIFF format, please, at a minimum of 300 dpi resolution. If you wish, you can also post your photo here in this thread, but we'll be judging on the ones that we receive at the email address. The four best photos that we receive will be published in Volume 1 No 2 of Bananas Quarterly, and I'll also announce them on this thread. Contest closes 30 May 2009 at midnight Ecuador time. I posted in the other thread but I'll post here too.
This an unknown that looks similar to Pink Futurity but it's not. I actually have Pink Futurity growing about 10 feet away so it easy for me to compare.

Here is a photo of some cannas in my son's yard in Rockford, IL. The Tropicana Cannas were from bulbs, but the red one is from seed. I am not in the contest, but these are about the only decent photos I have.
Taken with a cell phone, so quality is weak.  |
