Default Pink purple edges and middle?

This is the first time I have tried growing a banana plant. The seller I received this from claims it is a Blue Java tissue culture. Is it normal to have the pink edges on leaves and pink purple down the center of the leaves? I also know growing these in a container is not advised but I live in zone 5b so planting outside is not possible. Plan on upgrading pot in spring. I can’t figure out how to upload a photo from my phone, not sure if url will work.

Its a namwah most likely.. very few sellers sell the true blue java, most are namwah.. mine are no exception. The good news is namwah is arguably a better banana.. best of luck with your plant!

Looks like it was a tissue cultured plant, so may not look the same as a regular pup. Having said that, "natural" Ice Cream pups are definitely not colored that way was
