Harvested my first bananas of the year this morning.
My Raja Puri flowered last fall and it managed to survive the winter with four leaves. The lowest winter temperature here was 32 for a brief period one morning and I didn't do anything to protect it from the cold. As a bonus, my Namwah just started flowering. Congratulations! I really like Raja Puri. In my opinion they are the best a couple days after turning yellow and then they are sweet and tart. It's the only banana variety I have found that I like not very ripe. After that they are just sweet, but I like the tart.
