Sweet, but doesn't the latter miss sun? It seems as if it were in shade or something.

Nope, it's in full sun - it's just shaded from me standing over it taking the picture! It's because of our cool weather that it's not doing as well, but it is warming up recently.

The outdoor plant is improving, and if this warm weather keeps up, I am sure it will be looking like the indoor basjoo in no time.

Oh really, Bob?!!!

You wouldn't want me to post something like this, now would ya?...

Didn't you tell me that this was you - - back in the day?
When you used to dance late into the night with what's her name?...

Foxy Roxy? (or was that just her stage name?)

Careful Bob, or I might have to tell everyone about it!

Alright, enough of this foolishness - back to the real reason I am posting...

Look how tall it is today!

Well smart ass, the one that is outside, 'seeing the light of day', isn't doing half as well as my indoor one! So there.

Relax Beth, they are kinda cute. You know, like husband and wife after 65 years of healthy and happy marriage.

We really should commend Bob on all his hard work to keep society's kids off of drugs.
Here he is below, coaching, at one of the kid's baseball practices...

Notice Bob, from this picture I just took now, that my banana plant that is 'seeing the light of day' is not doing quite as well as my indoor one.

What do you have to say about that, oh wise one?...

I think it needs glasses if it has light and sun seeing issues.

It was having temperature issues, but now that it's warmed up so much, it is beginning to grow nicely now. We'll see. It is in the same south sun position as my indoor plant.

By the way...

I forgot to mention, I recently added 5 fish to my container pond along with my Lotus plant! I caught them from the river - well, some kids caught them for me, actually.

They've been in my pond for 5 days and they are surviving, but they are scared of people, and go straight to the bottom when you approach them. They are eating the mesquito larvae from my pond.

Anyway, just thought I'd mention that because you can see my pond in the picture.
