Low level dam at Woodward and Matanzas Avenue, Fort Pierce, Fla.
Fresh on one side salt water on the other..deep water each side. Conceal and carry is highly recommended.......never mind...... open carry. After a very heavy rain (hurricane) fishing these areas are recommended for massive snook.... As well as all the low levels in the area.. Just cast in the boil at the bottom of the dam. Manatee congregate there for the warm water coming off the canals....a lot of them... ![]() Untitled by Hostafarian, on Flickr. .. ![]() Rosarita Ave low level dam by Hostafarian, on Flickr. the roof on the porch fell on my buddies cabin in the gulf.
JUST KIDDING here is his cabin. you can only reach by water, no electricity, etc. etc. the cabin was built by my buddies uncle in the late 40s or early 50s. I helped put on the roof over 20 years ago. we have totally rebuilt the cabin since then. pics off the dock.

Shut out...high winds and flurries kept me off the pond.
The trout farm down the street made it all right. The deal is a cane pole a few bucks and a tiny piece of bait nets you a meal for two..........took about 10 seconds to catch a trophy sized pond raised fish. Highly recommend. https://cedarbrooktroutfarms.weebly.com |

used to catch what we called buttercats in the Yellowstone and Missouri rivers up in montana and north Dakota looked like that. cold water and good eating.
also caught appaloosa catfish in the flint river in Georgia but they were more of a brownish color. that one is just a guppy, looks like a fine meal.
