Hello everyone ...
Here is a new thread so that everyone can show what environment he grows its bananas, which could translate sometimes real contrasts ... Issor :the village A sight from my house Issor from my house and another sight from my house...The only "tropical" plants in the village are two trachies but no bananas... What about yours? Bikoro,
That is a beautiful site from your home. It reminds me of the scenary of my childhood. We had rolling hills, plus mountains a little farther away. The towns were larger -- about 20,000 people each with 10 to 15 miles of farms and open country in between. Here is a picture of my neighborhood in the north-western part of San Diego, CA. It was taken in about 2003.

Thanks for those pictures. For some reason, I had expected that from your pictures, that your zone would be lower that an 8. Your town of Pau is pretty close to Lourdes. Wish I could visit there someday. My Dad was there in the 80's. I also was given bottles of water from the grotto there by a close friend. He showed me a picture of crutches hanging at the roof of the cave in the grotto. What a sight that was.
Thanks again. |

Bikoro, thanks for updating your profile! Now I see your location on the map. A beautiful area to be sure, and some say the source of all Europeans after the last mini-ice age.

Only 4 or 5 bear! Thats too many for me! But compared to the criminals here, it probably equals out! Never seen a wild boar, only on tv. Then again......... with the way some of these folks dress, makes ya' wonder!
And we have vultures too....Although they come in human form! Bikoro child what is an isards? Thanks, and have a good day!
