Very pretty area! And very large. I have 10 acres (4.05 hectares) on Hartstene Island on Puget Sound in Washington State, but it has all 40-50 year old timber(Douglas Fir), except for 2-3 acres of pond. Coincidentally, this area is considered to be in the "banana belt" of western WA because the area has higher number of sunshine days than most of western WA. I wanted to use it as a camping area when my kids were young, but now my oldest will be 43 and my youngest will be 29 years old this year. My 17-year old grandson, who lives with us, has no interest in camping. Besides, I may be too old myself.

What is the city closest to your future banana "hacienda"?
