Keep at them Cam...with persistence you'll win the battle. I hate them too and they're tough to get rid of. Fortunately I don't have any at the moment.


So Janan, where did you make off to? You're always in invisible mode so I never know when you're signed on.


What is the use of invisible mode anyway? Is it so that people can avoid certain people? I don't really know, but noticed a lot of members use it...especially the women, but some men too...


Maybe I should go invisible as well.


So is anyone going to be up late tonight? I have no idea if I will be, but hoping to get a decent night's rest. Hoping.


I have some of those laurel seeds soaking, Janan. Too pretty, the plants are. Thanks so much for sharing!

Yeah Cam, it's in your profile settings...where you can make yourself invisible so people don't see you on the member's list of who's online.


A shady feature, if you ask me!

Cam,

Get a vacuum cleaner and put that small lengthed diameter section on the end of the hose and(don't get too close) place it near the top edge of the pot. Tap the edge of the pt quickly a few times and those suckers will light and you will suck up most of the problem on the first couple of tries.

Be sure and do this for about 5-6 days straight (to get the guys that hatch from eggs); no chemicals to breathe, no spraying and I have found that it works really well for me!

It would show I was on all the time because I very rarely log off. (unless my bananas stop waving and jumping) So it wouldn't be any help if I was not invisible. So don't be teasing me about being invisible! HA! HA!

So, I am thinking of heading to the grocery store in a bit. Need to pick up a few things and so does my mom. Might go later this afternoon.


Did you remember to post in Blake's thread Janan...it's just so sad what happened and I know he could use the support. Poor guy. How awful that happened.

There I am!

I conked out last night without any notice. I have hurt my back somehow and got some new over the counter medicine from Wally World and it just zonked me out. I usually don't leave if I am chatting with someone without letting them know. I wasn't trying to be rude last night. So sorry!

I am not on the page much that tells us who's on line. I just figure if they are posting, they are online.

There is some comment you made yesterday that I was going to reply to, and I thought it was in this thread but I can't find it. BAH! I hate it when that happens! I don't know how you keep up with all these! ~J

I figured something happened to you last night and thought maybe you fell asleep. I try to say goodbye too but have been guilty of signing off abruptly if someone shows up or calls...sometimes too, I fall asleep.


It's a lot to keep up with all these posts sometimes, I admit. I just take my time and read the new ones when I can. Oftentimes I'm logged on, but away from my laptop.


I always check to see who's online...several times.


I wish I had the energy today to go to this one big mall further away, to check for xmas clearance items. I think I've got enough for this year though. I never did show you my reindeer. Maybe I still can later...


It's cold and snowy here again. Here we go with our freeze/thaw winter cycle. A few days ago it was spring, now it's winter again!

That must have been an interesting job working for the Bradford Exchange. What did you do there? Did you get a heads up on the collectibles? I think I have bought a couple of things from them years ago. I can't recall exactly what it was though. I thought it was my porcelain Marily Monroe, but she is from Franklin Mint. (I think maybe this was what I wanted to reply about) ~J

My feed sacks are 50 pounds, and I may have twisted wrong or something when I was emptying into the cans. But I really think I did it playing. I got a Kinect for Christmas and I was on the rapid river ride. You have to jump and sqwat and bend and such. Don't tell anyone though! Actually it has been like this for several days and I just have to force myself to get anything done. UGH! I hate when I feel like this. ~J

At The Bradford Exchange I was a Client Representative and took calls from people placing orders, complaining about where their order was, etc. It was an office job.


It paid well but it was a demanding and gruelling job. We sold Franklin Mint and Thomas Kinkade...among others too. We also got an employee discount of half price!


They treated us well and at the end of the year we would get a big fat profit share cheque and they'd hold a big employee party where all the leftover stock for the year was practically given to us for free. I'm talking dirt cheap!


Yes we did get a head's up on the up and coming collectibles and could order them before the public could!


I will definitely show you my Rapunzel doll but I'll have to take her out of the box because there's no window on it. I would like to have a shot of her though, so I can see when I want to. Maybe I'll do it later...

Gosh I'm so sorry you're hurt Janan! Mabe you should just rest and not do much. Soaking in Epsom salts in the bath can draw out pain...a cup full.

Yes, I haven't been doing much. Laying on a heating pad and alternately ice packs - doesn't get much accomplished. Oh well. I have some epsom salt for my plants. I will give that a try too. ~J
