Had pretty heavy frost this morning, our 34th of the season. I moved one of my thermometers last night into an open area (and also noticed that it did show tenths of a degree when I put on my glasses!). At 6:30, a half hour before sunrise, that thermometer registered 37.8F while the other under my lemon tree registered 41.1F. I would guess it got a few tenths lower.

Got down to 43 here last night, but it's been warm enough during the days that everything is growing.

Half hour before sunrise and it's 37.2F with fairly heavy frost, our 35th frost of the season.

Hope to get my tomato transplants in the ground today but will have them protected with a row cover.

46 degrees last night, already 74 this morning. Super dry, 15% humidity. My potted plants are requiring watering way more than I'd like, due to the low humidity and windy conditions. But everything is enjoying the sun and warmth and growing like it is, well, Spring!

Had about a half inch yesterday after finishing up planting my first batch of tomatoes (168 plants in the ground with another 110 in a week or so). Light sprinkles so far today.

No rain for several weeks. High 80's and a few low 90's so I'm hand watering twice daily. The potted stuff. The Hunter controller waters the naners and chokes -- also 2x a day -- the lawn 3x per week. Very happy I had that well dug.
