Although I have no expertise in climatology, I now have my 28th morning with frost! My thermometer is registering 37F, but maybe it's reading a few degrees high.

Maybe it's reading just fine. Frost typically occurs by sublimation. The air temperature need not be at or below freezing.

It was a cool day today, not getting above the 50s due to cloud cover all day. Some areas near me had light sprinkles but I didn't see any. Better than frost!
