How about hot & sticky 89F Friday (it was hot!). A wonderful Saturday in the mid 90's a great day to head south to watch the oil wash up.. If you take a dip you will come out all oiled up. So much for going crabbin'... Man that sucks...!

Still without clean, sunny weather. We get to 23-24C every now and than and than we get rains and winds after!

Everything is more than 2-3 weeks back in growth rate.

Pretty much the same here--mid to upper 80s and muggy, but without the oil so far! It is such a shame that oil is coming ashore in the worst place as far as cleanup--and destroying some of the most productive wetlands in the country.

And it's 40°F in Rocklin as the clock shows 16:00 CET (GMT+1). ;)

It's not shame, it's catastrophy. I hope the wetlands in Louisiana and other areas will survive and some animals won't be on the brink of extinction.

Yes, 40 is a new record low! :woohoonaner: This global warming is great.

Actually, I didn't think it would get that cold.... I already planted Alpinia purpurata and Heliconias. Hopefully they will survive

Enigma, I sure hope it warms for you...it's been cold there for quite a while now. We've had unusually cool spring here too.

Hit close to 90 today, and was a bit humid. Weird to be humid here. I'm glad we are not setting any records(110s), this is hot enough!

Three thunderstorms in 40 hours giving us 8.5 inches of rain - in between blazing sunshine with cool temps in the mid 80'sf/29c but 90% humidity.

Ideal banana growing weather in St Louis the past couple weeks. 80 to 90 and humid during the day, 60s at night. Got some good rain last night too. Bananas are growing like crazy and new pups are coming up.
