Now that the cooler weather is approaching, my dwarf lime has decided to bloom, for the third time this year. No viable fruit, the first round. Round 2 is growing strong, a tad larger than golfballs. What a crazy growing season!

Looks more like a Xanthoma, not sure of the sub-species. All my Alocasia/Colocasias have crm/white inflorescences, the Xanths have the more Yellow. Hope that helps...
Cheers, pat |

Looks like the Red form of a Firebush, at least if those are it's leaves in the back. I did have a Cardinal Flower(a Lobelia)and it's leaves are lance-shaped....

Oh how I love plants that charm your nostrils.
I am trying to germinate some Ylang Ylang seeds right now (perfume tree). I understand they can take up to 4 months to germinate but if the smell is as nice as they say, it will be well worth the wait. : ) |

Re: What is blooming in your garden today (other plants)?
These are beautiful Canna lilies...
![]() But does anyone know the 'name' of them? Is the yellow/orange - Florence Vaughn? I don't have any idea for the red canna... Thanks! ~Cheryl
