I am growing Nendran variety in India. The plants are tissue cultured plants. Some of the plants look unhealthy and I wanted to know what deficiency has caused this and what is the solution. Please advise.

It also looks like something could be eating your plants. In the second pic the leaves look pretty much fine to me except for the missing sections......or did you cut out the damage?

I don't think so.... Other plants nearby are healthy. I haven't cut any damaged leaves. |

The disease spreads to nearby plants randomly. I applied chloropyriphos 1% solution to the roots and to leaves... 50% of infected plants recovered and broader leaves are emerging now as compared to narrow leaves in infected plants.

If the leaves unfurl that way, I suspect
1. calcium deficiency 2. 2,4D weedkiller injury 3. boron deficiency |
