I'm new to the site. I had previously purchased "Ice Cream" bananas from Florida Hill Nursery, but as we all know by now, what they and so many others are selling is NOT Musa Blue Java. Nice plants, but wrong identity.
I'm looking for the real Musa Blue Java. I live in Missouri. Thanks! |

WHAT?! This just ruined my day.
I purchased a Musa Blue Java from Florida Hill Nursery about a a year and a half ago. If it isn't Musa Blue Java, what is it? Side note, apparently I now also looking for a Musa Blue Java (in Huntington Beach, CA).

Well that would explain why it looks so much like the Namwahs I already have.

Which types of bananas? I think my wife might kill me if one more plant gets stored indoors for the winter. The finished half of the basement is now blocked with bananas. :-)
