Hi, this is my first post here. I hope the images are showing. I have this Dwarf Cavendish from February this year and it was doing great without any problems. Few days back I noticed that the new leaf and older leaf were deformed and somehow fused together. I didn't change anything with the care and the only thing that comes to my mind is that I took a pup two days prior, (but I've done it many times now). Can you help? Thanks

Hello. I'm posting a little update. So unfortunately it didn't fix itself. Every new leaf is intertwined with the older one the same way as on the photos. The new leaves eventually open up but both new and older leaf are teared up and bend. It's a shame because this banana plant has 1,5 year and it's pretty big .

Are you fertilizing it? Too much fertilizer can cause this problem.
