I ordered 25 yards of mulch, (horse stable bedding), last week. It took 3 days with the help of a friend, to move it from the front yard to the nanner beds! I took a few before and after pictures, here they are.

Boy, Brian, you take great care of your bananas and it shows. I imagine your compost decomposes pretty quickly in your climate. How often do you apply it?
Edit: never mind - I remember now in your Ae Ae thread you wrote that you apply the mulch 2-3 times a year, 12"-18" deep. Wow! ![]() Last edited by harveyc : 07-28-2009 at 10:00 AM. |

You pulled out you Dwarf Namwa, I thought you would just let the pups take over. I really liked how big they were at your place.

Ya, I had them for a couple years, but had to make room for other naners I haven't tried yet! The fruit really are great!
