Sorry it took me so long, had to learn how to navigate the site to do this. Now I have a headache. It's not very big yet, but it's doing good. The first night that I planted it out a rabbit ate the leaves

Fcastro, looks like you got the photo linking figured out now and they are in your gallery this morning. The second one (the one in the shadehouse according to comments in your gallery) definitely looks better and I will try something like that when my plant arrives this week.

Thanks for sharing!

OK scratch that last reply. I changed it back to the way it was.
I figured out the reason. Fcastro has made his gallery private and it requires a password.

Was wondering how people's Dwarf Pearl Namwah's are doing? Mine took a turn for the worse about 2 months ago. But for reasons unknown, mine has made a miracle comeback. Looking real good. But of course growing so slow. I think it thinks its a cactus.

lol

Mine died a few months ago and I don't think I would bother trying to grow one again. One thing I enjoy about growing bananas is how quickly they grow. The Namwah pearl is the un-cola of bananas! On top of that, its appearance isn't that impressive to me. Good luck with yours....if you have a 36" pup available some day, I might change my mind!

I received one from FCastro back last summer some time and it is still hanging in there. Not setting any growth records, of course, but still alive and looking healthy. I only have it in about a 6" pot, inside the house at the moment. I water it sparingly (even in the summer ) so as not to rot the roots. I will try to post some pics when I can.
