Wanted Babaco (Carica Pentagona)!!!
Hi!
I`m Pavlina and I`m from Bulgaria. I wish to find information for Babaco and I want to buy a plant. Unfortunately here, in Bulgaria, don`t have any Babaco yet and I wish so much to have that tree. I want to tell me were I can buy Babaco from. And what is the price? Please if anyone has information where I can buy or the Carica Pentagona plant for sale has to write in the thread or contact me personal messages. Thanks in advance! Greetings!!! |

Hello Pavlina and welcome to Bananas.org!
The taxonomic name for Babaco is actually Vasconcellea x heilbornii. Here is a short article I wrote about the plant last year: Babaco, The Pineapple Papaya. At the moment I am working permanent license for shipping plants to Europe. I hope to have it in 2 months. The first shipment under the new licensing will be to Jack Daw, so I'm sure you'll will hear about it then.
