Does anyone have Natal Queen slips/suckers? I would be willing to trade or buy.

The pineapple in the picture is of the MD-2 variety. Sugarloaf pineapples tend to be more conical in shape. I have a lot of sugarloafs growing and will post pictures once they fruit.

I have a bunch of sugarloafs as well (300), I had a small crop 12 months after planting and the pineapples were mostly on the small side. The ones that didn't fruit last year are fruiting this year. I have about 10 MD-2s, they seem to produce really nice fruit. Have you had any issues with mealybugs?

Mealy bugs are only a problem if you let ant colonies develop. I keep a the mealy bugs away by keeping the ants away. The MD-2s are rather hardy and can handle almost anything.

Where are you located? I have two that have survived two winters in the basement with poor light. One is much bigger than the other. With our cold winters I am doubting I'll ever get fruit.
