I uploaded some images of my plant. Its first leaf popped out yesterday evening since being seperated from the mom plant. It seems to have some brown dead area on it though. I dont know how to put the pics into a thread yet

The person that gave it to me said it grows small edible bananas half the size of the store bought ones. They said the bananas stayed green so she did not know if they ever fully riped or not. I know from the site some stay green. So if that helps with the I.D.

That gives us many possibilities...Most bananas made in subtropical or temperate climates will be a lot smaller than store-bought ones. Then again, it could just be the variety. Most varieties usually turn yellow, even ones that stay green have a slight color change.
