Need help

Hello my name sam I need help yesterday iMy two new baby bananas they came a little banged up some leaves are yellow and brown and some are saggy it look like new leaves are growing in the middle my first question is should I cut them down so the roots could develop faster and what soil should I get when it get time to transplant and when can I start fertilizing the baby plant it’s in a 4” pot maybe with three or 4 leaves any advice will appreciate

The plant being in a 4 inch pot suggest it is a TC and was from a green house. ... Set the plant in bright sunlight but NO direct sun. Check the soil, i suspect it is very wet (too wet). Let it dry out. ... Mix up some Miracle Grow per direction for potted plants, then in a few days mist the leaves. This will give it water and nutrients.

When you start to see improvement repot to a 6 or 8" pot with 50%/50% potting soil & perlite. Water the pot about once a week. The soil needs to be moist but not soggy; and it needs to be near DRY before watering again. Banana roots need to breath, so the pot needs to have bottom holes and excess water MUST drain out of the pot.

If you cut anything, only cut the leaves that are brown.

The little plant being from a greenhouse was in a high humidity environment. The humidity of a house is very low. So misting the plant with water a couple of times a day will keep it hydrated. Mist with the folar spray (miracle grow) every other day.
