I have no clue my husband bought them for me on line . I stuck them in the ground fed them protected them and loved them for the last 8 years. this year I was amazed to get fruit now it is fall I have baby bananas do I treat them as I have the plant in the Past or do I have to do something special for the babes ?

8 YEARS AND NO FRUIT? I gotta follow this thread. . . Most likely seeded? Everyone is gonna tell you to POST A PICTURE and tell your Hardiness Zone/location. Lots of mulch your best option.

Yes 8 years Seattle weather is not conducive to growing tropical plants. but we do the best we can. These plants have never been out of the ground I just cover them with a cage made of wire fence and frost cloth

Thanks to my husband my photos are up my zone came up 12 good bad again clueless

yeah none are poisonous/toxic but the taste is not gonna be what you're looking for and has seeds. Try Wellspring Gardens or get a member here to get you a good eatin' one or two for cheap!
