Hiya Good to be here

Hello All,

I am new to growing fruits other than berries and ventured into growing figs a few years ago. I was inspired and curious about growing cold hardy dwarf bananas from watching a few videos from the Millennial Gardner YouTube channel. I live in Washington State so would need to protect them but wanted to experiment. I bought a Truly Tiny to grow indoors from an Amazon reseller and then a Dwarf Orinoco also from Amazon I think sold through Wellspring Gardens. The dwarf Orinoco did not arrive in good shape and not sure it will make it. It had about 8 inches of growth but was in a little tiny pot that looked pretty dry when we unboxed it.

I think we got the Truly Tiny from Wellspring and it was smaller but has since grew a couple of leaves and looks pretty healthy.

I don't know if that is a great introductory post, but I am glad to be here! I would like to get another dwarf Orinoco or maybe a dwarf Namwah to experiment with growing here in Zone 8b.

Thanks,
Gary
