Default BBTV in a sad looking plant?

Got this plant at a shop very cheap as it was looking quite sad. Very dry soil and multiple pups in the small pot with it. New growth is crowding at the top of the plant. Starting to get concerned with potential BBTV (see photos below), though I have read that dwarf cavendish can have crowding issues with drought.

The plant says it was grown in Canada and doesn’t appear to have pests, but some of my other plants have come in with aphids in the past so hoping to avoid spreading anything. Currently this one is quarantined.

Hoping to get other’s thoughts.

Thanks!
