I just bought a new corm for a "blue java" and it shows the stem is twisted for about 1ft of length. What is the best method to deal with it? Should I cut the whole thing back?

Thank you for your help! This cultivar is expensive right now and I don't want to mess it up.

Well you could cut below the twist of leave it alone it will sort things out or you can put a splint on it.
