I figured out how to attach photos. The small one is a pup from the mother plant. I have another pup growing from that pup... so a third generation pup lol.
The big plant is the mother plant. You can see in the last photo the new leaf growing out but the 2nd newest stopped growing or slowed down....[IMG]

If I don't try to open up the middle and peel away some of the older leaves and cut back... the 2nd newest leaf would stay in a semi-rolled up state while the new one keeps growing until it starts to open up inside the 2nd leaf which is even fully open.
