Hello

I was a member here awhile ago known as SOCALROCKER...

As a member I learned about all the banana's you ever wanted to know,and met some cool members.I could'nt believe how many varieties you can plant. I live in California in Ventura County just over the hill from Los Angeles. If any members live close by in the San Fernando Valley or the Ventura County, Los Angeles area it would be great to know what types you are growing in your yards. My backyard had many varieties but due to weather conditions,and the hot summer's, freezing winters, severe strong winds, California drought problems my banana's didn't make it. So I quit growing Banana's. If you like to see my old pictures from my old gallery go to SOCALROCKER.I am starting up again with a new banana pad growing in my front yard closer to my house for protection. Hope to meet some new members,and maybe purchase some new pups from the members here. Have a nice day everyone
