Wink Signs that your banana will bloom soon
The leaves getting progressively shorter.

This is a FHIA-03 that's getting close to blooming.

Notice the width of the petiole at the base of the leaf and how it quickly narrows.

The precursory appendage of the next cigar leaf is visible.
