Nice bud! It's a young plant, so don't fret if it doesn't make it to flower stage. You at least know that it can flower

At my previous home my experience was that in the first couple of years only about 1/4 of the buds would mature to flower, and only a few of those would produce fruit (with hand pollination). But when a plant reached 3+ years, the success rate from bud to fruit was something like 9 out of 10.
