Welcome Jose, I live in Gulf Shores, al.
When I started with bananas I was looking for the taller ones to give my yard a jungle look. Most local ones are Orinoco. I have recently purchased bananas that are shorter in height (Raja Puri & Dwarf Cavendish) which I'm hoping will produce fruit earlier since you can winterize them easier than the taller bananas when the cold weather comes thus giving them a head start in spring.
