Re: Lack of bees. Does anyone hand polinate the flowers?

I was under the impression that they still needed a transfer of pollen from stamin to pistil? Even if on the same flower. if this is not the case, why do the flowers keep dropping? They're not mal...

Lack of bees. Does anyone hand polinate the flowers?

Jeeze, they're falling off daily. They're not getting polinated. Can I do it with a paint brush or something? The yield would be so much better.

Re: Hey Everyone Check Out My Red Abyssinian Banana

Re: Please identify this banana

Just to make a point, and buyer beware of Wellsprings. I want others to identify this as Abyssinian Banana, (Ensente Maurelii), but not the RED sport of Abyssinian Banana, not RED Abyssinian Banana....

Re: Do Saba pups ever have sploched leaves?

IT'S GIGANTIC! Leaves as big as surfboards, a 18-24" diameter trunk, 20-25' pseudostem. Here in the SW FL, easily the fastest growing nana. Great tasting cooking nanas.

It make a statement in the...
