Just to make a point, and buyer beware of Wellsprings. I want others to identify this as Abyssinian Banana, (Ensente Maurelii), but not the RED sport of Abyssinian Banana, not RED Abyssinian Banana. I purchased other EE's from them that were sold under incorrect names as well, but I have since tossed them. This one, however, I'd like to have identified by someone other than myself. I got ripped off!

You might want to give it some time. I wonder if PH affects the color any? I have seen some neighbors plant small ones that were mostly green only to watch them turn red as they grew larger.

On another note, why buy from a seller who has proven to you they sell mislabeled plants?

Nah, it was all on the same sale. I think I got 6 EE's, 3 Papaya plants, which were all in the same pot, impossible to seperate, and the Ensente.
