Ah, those ones we call 'egg bananas' The fruit is very golden yellow inside. If that's what I have then I'll be very happy.

I got them from a friend, they were clumped around a couple of others that he kept and we replanted them. He said that they hadn't fruited yet.

No reason to laugh about bananas growing on the side...
