I'm open to that... but, the fruit looks different and it seems like a selection or cultivar from a time gone by. I really can't put much faith in wikipedia for plants that are niche as even local...

I should have mentioned that I believe my bananas are also Dwarf Namwah so maybe this is the only type that does this (along with Namwah).

The frost was bad this year, but usually less so. Sac has a lot more heat in Summer. Do Blue Java and Orinoco need 80's+?
