Musa seeds are almost always fake and something else, and other seeds are often old and do not germinate.
Because they're so cheap people still buy it, but don't,...

This is enseten ventricosum, possibly Tarranda Red/Red Stripe or some red-petioled variety.

There is no nutrient decedent or anything, the plant looks fine to me.

Same experience here with the Mekong Giant, I guess it needs a lot of heat to get going. Growing them in the US is absolutely not the same as in europe!

Musa sp Yangtze seems to be Musa yunnanensis...

All beautiful plants, but the seeds most probably do not come from wild plants, but plants on a nursery in Kalimpong, India. Here the wild plants are brought and grown for their seed. Unfortunately...

Mekong seems to be good, you might try it. I'm still getting it big enough untill I dare to try it. They're readily available in the US.

If you ask me, you can't patent wild species,.....but on the other hand,....Monsanto seems to do stuff like that with broccoli,.......
