Big Thank You!!!
A big thank you out to Momoese (Mitchel) for the plants. He was very generous and gave away a lot of plants including Hawaiian Apple, Dwarf Brazilian, Heliconia and ginger. Thanks again!

Re: What did you kill today?
Mahalo for sharing your yard photos. It seems like most of us are attempting to create, with varying degrees of success, what you can do in your back yard. My yard in Los Angeles is my little piece...

I ended up digging up the corm and trimming off the rot. Its just a waiting game now to see if anything sprouts from it.

Re: Corm propagation a success - Ae Ae?
I came out Saturday morning to find my Ae Ae lying on the ground with the bottom 3 inches of the P-Stem rotted. I cut away most of the rot (maybe I should go deeper to get it all?) and it seems to...

Re: What did you kill today?
My Ae Ae. I went out this morning to see the stalk lying on the ground with the bottom 3 inches basically mush. Between the cold of winter and the few days of heavy rains, it seems to have done it...

Re: Does this look like a Kofi?
I can't tell the height from that last photo but it looks closer to what I have labeled as a Kofi. As this is the first fruit mine has produced, that may be why the bunch is more sparse but the shape...

Does this look like a Kofi?
I was wondering if anyone could tell if this looks like the fruit of a Kofi. I bought the plant about 3 years ago at a local store and that was what it was labeled.
