Re: Musa Aeae White Variegated
I see. I am no longer interested in AEAE's because I read they cannot dip below 60F. If I were to slip up once in my climate they would be harmed.. I can't take that risk haha
My friend in NC zone 7...

Re: An Update Of My Latest Nana Plants 2019!
Honestly, I'd rather never have Red French Plantain than acquire it though this seller. Small or large offer, this guy does not reply. Almost like he lives for this sort of drama. He literally never...

Re: An Update Of My Latest Nana Plants 2019!
Hector, I always love watching the progress of your banana plants. If it weren't for the weight, I'd 100% use your silica and pearlite combo for soil medium.
Let's get an update again soon please!...

Re: Musa yunnanensis officially described!
Sorry forgot to update this. TURNS OUT Mekong Giant is actually Itinerans var. itinerans. What a ripoff. The sap is white. Xishuangbannaensis has red sap. Here's the link explaining the differences...

Re: Giant Yunnan Banana (Musa Itinerans Gigantea)
I think one is germinating!!! It's in the middle of the pic.. white part emerging! It looks like the tip of it is brown but that's just a piece of vermiculite. I might transfer it to a pearlite jar...

Re: Bunchy Top Virus Spread Through 5 Species
Thank you for this. The video demonstrated the severity of water-spread diseases/pests and I am positive I'll never plant any garbage (AKA cannas.. lol) in the same soil. But it never hurts to be...
