the reason this is posted as True Raja Puri, is the origin of the plant..

some folks get things in trade that have no clue what they are.. they give it a name based on leaves or what peeps say .....

ethylene, which stimulates bromeliads to flower.

some folks use apples put in the middle of plant and cover with plastic bag,
they produce same gases..

they gas them for pre-mature blooms..

takes app. 2 years to fruit from pup, slip or shoot and 3 from top..

all of mine are red to purple as the start to flower in order all the up fruit..
flower starts out one color and turns to purple..

i've noticed that color when leaves are first starting ..

bobby, those blades resemble my sugarloafs..
fruits aren't as big as golds, white flesh and can eat core..

lmk when yu eat it..
