Tried to search forum for answer but the search feature not working on phone. How is best to ship banana pups? Friend would like some. Curious as if to just cut off most of stem and and all leaves...

My bunches have gotten bigger and better with less pups. Use to leave 3 or 4 pups, last year started culling to one. Also fertilize every month and watering more than before. So far so good

Thanks for the reply. I usually pull pups that same way or with my pry bar. But when harvested past bunches just cut the old plant down to ground and let it just rot away. Never thought of cutting...

I have been stingy in fert, and probably not applying enough. I put mix I got from going bananas, about one cup every month. Probably light water too. The mysores look ok as do the others even though...

So mysore doing great, flowers and stalk dropped completely nice bunch. Goldfinger righy next to it, flowers never dropped off stalk just sitting on it and very bananas that are not really developing...

Not as tropical as where you are, but South Florida really no harsh winter lol still in the 80s. So hoping for a milder winter than usual (if there is such a thing) so it does not slow them down. ...
