What is the solution for commercial / Chemical fertilizers ?

To me it seems a lot of the commerically available fertilizers and additives contain way too much salt and ultimately will harm plants in the long run ,

I am not sure what to use, but I think all/most of the commercially available products take short cuts for growth that ultimately harm plants.
