You have a rojo red or commonly called blood banana right there. They grow very fast I live in Nebraska and mine grew 5 ft in the summer and 2ft under grow lights in the winter.

I have a little prince. Mine is about 2ft tall and has a 3" pseudostem. I am pretty sure they can flower but it is very very rare that this event occurs.
