You have a rojo red or commonly called blood banana right there. They grow very fast I live in Nebraska and mine grew 5 ft in the summer and 2ft under grow lights in the winter.

Well once you plant a banana it will send out suckers and you will have a clump of bananas growing so maybe you should plant something else there.

Buy a super dwarf cavendish it produces full sized bananas in a short amount of time and only gets 4 feet tall. It also does well with hydroponics.
