I have a red Abyssinian banana plant and when I bought it the plant was growing nice but once I put it in a little bigger pot it just started to grow leaf on top of leaf and quit growing up. The base is getting very wide but the plant hasn't gotten any taller in a month or so. I'm confused on this because my others are growing tall but not this one. Any ideas?

It might just be trying to thicken it's pseudostem or if all the leaves are bunching at the top it may have btv (banana bunchy top virus.)

Are the new leaves exactly centered above the preceding leaf?
