Default Newbee to banana plants

Hi All,
just found this site about banana plants. Have been growing a few plants going on two years. Live in Maryland and have cold hardy basjoo? wintered them over in the ground with good luck. Both came back this spring! Feel good about that!! Will search site for information about my plants. Thanks in advance for the answers!

Basjoo are most cold hardy banana out there. They can get very tall though. Most people say it originated in Japan but it is actually from southern China. There flowers are a brown/yellow color very pretty. The bananas are inedible though.
