The island that I am from in Hawaii consist of over 90% Filipino immigrants and they brought all of their favorite bananas from the Philippines. This one did not make the cut, and was not worth...

I have eaten a bunch of different ones and Brazilians tops them all in Hawaii's climate. Namwa and Mysore are also excellent.

All things equal, I would take Namwa over Cavs every time. Cavs are bleh… The only reason I eat Cavs are that they are dirt cheap.

I actually told him about you several months ago. He asked me if you had any of these "popoulu lahi and fe'i aiuri and fe'i potea" I know that he does not have a lot of pups of this one at the moment...

namwa is way better than BJ. So much so that I yanked my BJ out with a flower on it. Was just not worth waiting to kill it off.

Glad to hear that they are doing well. One of my bunches of MM should be ready by then. You maybe able to taste it. I just took down a bunch of MM last week. So I am eating ripe green bananas…

Just had my first taste of Mysore...

I like it, itʻs pretty good, but not great. It could be a climate thing, but DB growing in my environment is far superior in taste.
