quite. I never give up but it was annoying as I thought they were more hardy and it put me back. all sorts of things are popping up now I have treated myself to a vitopod and a stewart variable...

I bought 1000 of these from mark davies on ebay uk and soaked and planted the first 200 about 6 weeks ago. i am running a vitopod at 30c daytime, off at night and in the last few days 5 have popped...

why almost bought basjoo? it is a good relatively hardy plant and quite hard to find - well i havent found any near plymouth.

i think it is unlikely you will grow edible fruit in uk - not enough...

well, i got mine 28/12/12 and they have been in the heated propagator since soaking. i used a craft knife on some to chip the outer, and on others a metal nail file. only 2 out of 50 sprouted so...

I forgot to mention that I also have Ricinus communis and Carmencita sat in a spare bedroom trying to overwinter so they will be massive next year, also 3 Brugmansia which should do well down here....

i have mine in dowe egberts coffee jars sitting on top of radiator. water changed daily.

airing cupboard useless since combi boiler went in attic.

i'm also trying post soak seeds in a ziplock bag...
