Default Wanted in UK nr Plymouth

I'm looking for basjoo and\or any other of the hardier varieties to grow in southwest. i had 2 basjoo last year but they didnt make it through the winter and show no signs of sprouting again from roots.

I wouldn't give upon the basjoos yet. If they do come back they will be more mature and durable.

quite. I never give up but it was annoying as I thought they were more hardy and it put me back. all sorts of things are popping up now I have treated myself to a vitopod and a stewart variable propagator, trouble is I don't know what some of them are - from small dormant seeds in compost that I recycled from previous failures - I think I have panama hat palms amongst them.
