Banana Seed Germination Forum As one of the toughest seeds in the plant kingdom to figure out the keys to germination success with, this is a forum with banana seed germination tips. Please entitle posts like "Musa balbisiana," or "Musa cheesmani," etc. People would then post a reply under that heading, sharing their germination successes (and failures), what materials and methods they used, germination percentage, etc. |

Wet Coco substrat - on the boiler too 21 days. The first germinated is this one: ![]() repotted today, this little thing already has long roots (yes, your seeds James ![]()

![]() i have mine in dowe egberts coffee jars sitting on top of radiator. water changed daily.
airing cupboard useless since combi boiler went in attic. i'm also trying post soak seeds in a ziplock bag with usual damp perlite\vermiculite in a thermos flask of water at 35degs. might work instead of propagator and cheaper... too early to know results yet. |

pics of today ![]() 4 ensete glaucum first on the left was the one on the first picture. ...One is faster grower than others... 2nd batch of seeds soaked since last saturday. This time all the seeds were sandpaper scarified. Will be in coco tomorrow for germination.
