Today i repotted my meyer lemon tree to a smaller pot. I think it will do better there and i also mixed in some fresh soil.

The other night I could of sworn I saw something crawling in there. If I have the nerve I'll check tonight and catch it somehow and throw it outside. I'm pretty sure it came with the plant.

so i've been getting some chewing on my leaves, mainly near the middle and not on the edges. I put some flat beer and some vegetable oil near it as I hear that might kill the insect thats chewing it....

I do have some cooler areas with some sun. Yes my misting bottle is helping a lot. Itll be nice to attempt the alpines.

Hi tom. Wow thats low humidity. You should try some misting it has worked well for me.
But yes in a couple of months the weather will start improving.

I have found one space in the room that gets more sunlight.
If you had a choice , sherry, would the citrus or bananas benefit more from that spot?
I ask also because my kumquat fruits are there and...

wow that is awesome! I have a meyer lemon tree as well, but its only budding now. So from bud to the start of a fruit is about a month? and then maybe 3 months for the fruit to ripen??

That's great insight. Unfortunately I think I near killed my strawberry plant as it is still in rough shape. Do blueberries withstand colder climates? I am thinking of replacing my strawberry plant.

There is no replacement of a DSLR with a point and shoot. Maybe at the optimum settings on a secific style of shooting the pics will come out really well, but the DSLR has a lot more manual settings,...

For the price the 18-55mm lens is fantastic.
But, depends what you're shooting. If you are doing street photography and short to medium shots a prime lens might be a better option. A 50mm lens would...
