I know that Dwarf Cavendish seems to handle the cold a little better than Gran Nain, and the fruit is a smaller at least here in Florida

Nice Horse Chestnut! I think it will be fine. The disease looks to be a rust, and is very common on Aesculus here. They can spray a preventative fungicide in the spring, and then again...

Ron, I don't know much about what chestnuts are grown in Holland but even within sativa there are quite a bit of variations as seedlings seldom are very similar to the parent while mollisima...

The "end" plants are 2 ft 7 in (80 cm) from the ends, and the plant spacing is about 5 ft 3 in (161 cm). The Misi Luki I planted was a tissue culture this spring so it has 18 months to...
