Trying to line some up for this spring. Saba and Musa Basjoo.

I'm trying to line up a few sellers for this spring. I'd like to buy 10 to 15 plants.

Thank you!

I'll try that as well as try and make a sort of greenhouse with plastic and PVC.

Re: I failed again at Wintering. Anyone from Kansas?

You're spot on. Oddly enough the potted plant was a corm left over fron the previous year that early in the season didn't do much and I thought had died.

The plants planted in the ground were...

Re: I failed again at Wintering. Anyone from Kansas?

Thank you for the information. Ideally I'd like to get around 10 plants for this coming spring to see how they're going to do and maybe try a few approaches.

Thank you! So from what I understand, you bring the potted ones in for the Winter?

I failed again at Wintering. Anyone from Kansas?

I'll be looking to buy some plants for this spring/ Summer but I'm really sick of killing them over the winter. I have some reading to do. The plants I insulated with bubble wrap died. The corm I...

Bought off Amazon.

The listing was for a Musa Basjoo. I've had it since February, but it hasn't grown a whole lot since February. It's the little one. Does anyone know if this is normal? The normal size? I know...

Re: Wanted Musa Basjoo

Thanks a bunch. I really appreciate it. If they don't arrive safe, it's my fault. Just not a good time of year to try and buy them.

This will give me something to enjoy until spring arrives....

Re: Wanted Musa Basjoo

I'll be able to get that out Wednesday if that's ok. $23.95 total is that correct? I'll make it an even $25.00 if it's more, please let me know.

Re: Wanted Musa Basjoo

I have a garage but it's separate from the house and cold enough that water freezes out there. Wasn't sure if that was an option or not.

Re: Lost all my bananas

I feel your pain. I too lost all of mine. I had them ( the stalks) bubble wrapped and corms mulched but the stalks still wilted and fell over. Maybe outside wintering wasn't a hot idea for myself. ...

Re: Please help me ID this.

Looks like I am in zone 6b. I need to come up with some kind of portable greenhouse that's heated. I hate to cut them down and really have no place inside to keep them as they are.

Re: New leaf dried up.

I'm going to just yank it up and put more mulch down. I'm betting you're correct and I'm not wanting to take the chance add leaving it. It's nice to have a place where a person can come and get...

Re: New leaf dried up.

I'll try and figure something else out for helping shade it. The black was to kill the grass. It's still not pushing the leaves up and out. Didn't know what kind it was. Now I know! I'll get more...
